Grand Opening of GEOST’s Expanded Production Facility

Tucson, AZ—January 26, 2024 – GEOST, LLC (GEOST), a LightRidge Solutions Company was joined at a ribbon cutting ceremony by Congressman Juan Ciscomani on January 26th, 2024 to commemorate the completion of the company’s expanded production facility.

The expansion will double GEOST’s production capabilities at a time when the organization is undergoing significant growth and recruiting to hire additional local talent. It includes a 1100 square foot International Organization for Standards (ISO) class 7 clean room and three 300 square foot laboratories.

Rich Gray, President and General Manager of GEOST noted, “this facility continues a long tradition of investments and growth in the southern Arizona, Marana/Tucson area for GEOST.” Gray noted that the company has grown 600 percent over the past three years while increasing the number of employees from 30 to just over 225.

At the ceremony, Congressman Ciscomani congratulated GEOST on the expansion and stated, “your commitment and investment to our region is incredible. I grew up in this district and I am proud to see businesses grow and flourish, hire people, and drive economic opportunity.”

In a second phase of the project, GEOST will again continue to expand its production capacity —to more than 400% from its 2023 capabilities — and expects to hire up to 100 additional employees in 2024. The current and continued expansion will bring secure, high-paying jobs in modern manufacturing to the heart of Tucson.
